Yep. Favorite hobby? Calling friends and relatives in snow country and singing: "Let it snow,Let it snow,Let it snow." - agesilausExplorer III
- DutchmenSportExplorerThe Old Farmer's Almanac is probably the best anyone can "guess" at:
The Old Farmer's Almanac for this area where I live:
Annual Weather Summary: November 2013 to October 2014
Winter will be slightly milder than normal, with near-normal precipitation and below-normal snowfall in most of the region. The coldest periods will be in mid- to late December, early and mid-January, and in early to mid-February. The snowiest periods will be in mid- and late December and in late January.
April and May will be warmer and a bit rainier than normal.
Summer will be hotter than normal, with rainfall slightly below normal despite a tropical rainstorm threat in mid-July. The hottest periods will be in mid-June, early to mid-July, and late August.
September and October will be warmer and drier than normal in the east but slightly cooler and rainier than normal in the west. - John___AngelaExplorerCould use some moisture in Palm Springs CA. At this point I dont know if we will ever need to put the top up on the smart car again. High of 85 again yesterday. Not complaining.

Yep, and thankful a hurricane did not wipe me off the face of the earth.... :E
Hasn't been a hit with anything but minor rain event storms in nine years now, IIRC.
We've had a cool October and early November so far but nothing exceptional.
BK - Opie431ExplorerWe have had rain, rain and more rain. Drove thru some overflowing swamps yesterday.
- midnightsadieExplorer IIand it all depends on witch way the wind blows.
- ol_Bombero-JCExplorerHere in Southern CA, it's been in the (predictably) high 70's.
"Winterize":
Looking forward to snow in our local mountains to be able to surf in the AM and hit the slopes by noon, back for an outside BBQ at dinner time.
Cooler (LOL!) weather also means time to load up the Toy Haulers with MCs and ATVs head for the desert.
Are we havin' fun yet..:@
~ - Jim_ShoeExplorer IIHere in southern Ohio, it seems like we got early cold weather, but we haven't been below freezing or seen snow yet, and it is November. Seems like the summer flew by.
I'd hate to be a weather forecaster. With all the instruments at their disposal, they still have a lousy record and its not their fault. Weather rarely does what it's supposed to do.
