McMansions On Wheels, Have We Gone To Far
Just curious if others out there like me that think "Have we gone to far as to camping in a RV that cost many thousands of dollars", I sort of think how we use to camp back in the 50's, 60's and 70's,...

Diversity is what America is all about...it's not just political sloganeering. We are a very diverse country. A country of diverse people...interests...needs.
While I'm sometimes amazed by some of these upper end RVs, there's a market for them. Folks want them. Some folks may need a higher end RV. Others of us...not so much.
There are times when I miss our little pop up, being able to get into places these McMansions would never be able to go. But then, would they really want to? It's a matter of different lifestyles.
Do I like my current trailer? Oh yeah sure you betcha! Would I like more features, more comforts? Maybe. Maybe not. Like many, sleeping on the ground is a thing of the past. Been there/done that/won the tshirt. Gots to have a bed now!
Do I need granite counter tops? 1, 2 or 3 TVS? 2 bathrooms? Nope. Do others? Maybe. I'm not gonna judge, that's their choice. If others choose to spend whatever amount they do on their rigs, more power to them.
Regarding one of the pictures above, I've seen one of them before. It's very similar to what Simon Cowell uses as his personal trailer on studio lots. Highly doubtful that Mr. Cowell is gonna be going to Quartsite or Yuma or Monument Valley with that behemoth! Warner Brothers lot? Yup, likely!
