Regarding one of the pictures above, I've seen one of them before. It's very similar to what Simon Cowell uses as his personal trailer on studio lots. Highly doubtful that Mr. Cowell is gonna be going to Quartsite or Yuma or Monument Valley with that behemoth! Warner Brothers lot? Yup, likely!
Hakuna Matata.
Yep I think it is his but once one is built many will follow and want one as well, the way its going soon the new RV parks will have 90 x 60 foot wide sites plus 100 amp hookups to accommodate the huge rigs.
:R
I think you're trying to compare two different things. In your OP, you state "Camping use to mean family time, nature, hunting or just having a party around the campfire". That is a completely different thing than going to an RV Park. RV Parks aren't traditional campgrounds and they don't cater to traditional camping. RV Parks have been developed to provide a place to park your RV and be close to "urban" features (shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, golfing, etc.).
If you want to get back to family time, nature, etc., then you need to leave the RV Parks behind and go visit some public campgrounds. When looking at descriptions, aim for those places that talk about nature, fishing, hiking, kayaking, etc., not about how close it is to restaurants, shopping, tourist spots, golf courses, etc.
