Just curious if others out there like me that think "Have we gone to far as to camping in a RV that cost many thousands of dollars", I sort of think how we use to camp back in the 50's, 60's and 70's,...

It is all about what ya want and timing in life.
do what ya feel is best--- we chose to go backward in size :)
40 ft monster toyhauler and yes we went to 'far'. We loved it and hated it :)
Traded for a total length 34 ft travel trailer toyauler and we love it and being so much smaller it just fits us again. Can one go overboard, sure if ya want and when you do you can always change it again. Best about my new hauler is the king bed, heck didn't even get that in my monster rig!
