McMansions On Wheels, Have We Gone To Far
Just curious if others out there like me that think "Have we gone to far as to camping in a RV that cost many thousands of dollars", I sort of think how we use to camp back in the 50's, 60's and 70's,...

We use our current TT for both camping and traveling. The main reason we purchased our current TT was so we could take our dogs with us. We like to do the camping thing on long weekends where we go to a state park, have the camp fire, cook outside, etc. But we also use our TT for a traveling Hotel. Recently we drove to Charleston for a week and also to Savannah. Both cities we had never been to so instead of driving/flying and getting a hotel room, we took the TT and stayed at a nice park. And, we were able to take our dogs with us. We could explore during the day and be back at our site with the dogs at night. We'd eat out during lunch hours and cook dinner back at our site in the evenings. Having a nice RV is the best of both worlds for us (traveling and camping).
