We are fulltimers and have a condo on wheels. It is a really nice 5th wheel that we live in. We also have a Harley Trike and a motorcycle tent trailer. Last year, we took a 49 day (late summer) trip to the northeast with the trike and tent trailer. It was an interesting experience. Depending on a small cooler for food for 49 days was doable but took lots of effort and ice to keep the food safe. We did not have to sleep on the ground since the motorcycle tent trailer is basically just a bed platform with a bit of storage space. We had a blast and plan a spring trip before we head out with our 5th wheel for our summer travels. I would not like to go back to sleeping in a regular tent on the ground but the tent trailer adventure was so much fun.
