We tent camped for years, then a popup for decades, now a fifth wheel. We bought it to extend our camping season and for comfort. Yes it has more TVs than my house, yes it has a bigger fridge than when we were raising our kids.
We bought it for ourselves, not to impress anyone. And we have still only plugged in once in over 40 years of camping.
We love to go for strolls in the provincial parks and look at the diversity of peoples setups, admiring what everone has and happy that they are enjoying the great outdoors.
