Just curious if others out there like me that think "Have we gone to far as to camping in a RV that cost many thousands of dollars", I sort of think how we use to camp back in the 50's, 60's and 70's,...

Believe it or not, some people really aren't interested in camp fires, boating, jeep driving, or all the things you think are so wonderful. They have other interests and they enjoy them just as much as you enjoy yours. Even if it means the highlight of their day is to "only come outside to walk their little white poodle..." Try not to be so condescending to people you don't even know.
FWIW, "siteseeing" is visiting web pages, "sightseeing" is seeing the sights. :)
