Medical alert devices
I'm looking into obtaining a medical alert device.I searched several companies online, including Lifealert. I'm pretty much settled on the GreatCall Splash device.Anyone out there using this service? ...

I got yhe Great Call Splash for my Mom about a year ago - it works great and she is very happy with it.......
I also got the "caregiver monitoring" portion (I think it is an app now) - where I can monitor where she is and it alerts me if she goes out comes home, etc.......
She is an active 87 year old - so it is peace of mind for me living 5 1/2 hours away!!!
It is very reasonable price wise also.
Oh one drawback - it should be charged nitely - so Mom does take it off and if she needs to use the bathroom during the night she is "without" protection (not on her).
Also it is a little larger than another that I looked at - but she is comfortable with the size and weight (not much) of the unit and adjusted to wearing it without a problem!
