Other than replacing the mirror with a cabinet, it looks like there's a lot of wall space above the toilet for nice tall cabinets. However, you'd really have to be careful when opening a door so something doesn't fall into the toilet. You'd have to get into the habit of keeping the toilet seat down. Especially be careful after travel and opening the door for the first time. The best thing to do if you install a cabinet is to find some plastic containers that would fit on the shelves to contain things so they don't tip over. They wouldn't have to have lids... just to keep bottles upright or shaving or whatever, grouped together. Then pull out the container & take it to the vanity for use.
