There are basically 3 types of RV parks
1: You own the site. but they may Time share it if you are out and about and not on site.
2: First come first serve (I have two of those) WHen I pulled in Wed I ask Janet (The clerk/assistant manager) "What do you have near B-17 (It was our song it was his song now it's over).. Ok. so I did not quote the song. She had B-19 and that's where i'm parked.. With luck I will get a repair and or mod done before I pull off cause this site is not level. but it's not level in a way I really needed it to be (I need to work under the side I had to lift) SO I'm very happy.
I do not get to reserve a site less I'm coming in for like six months.
Most membership parks have a 2 or 3 week in... One week out. Policy.. (WHich is why I have 2.. in the summer I shuttle 2 weeks in one than 2 in the other).
In the winter I reserve a site at a government run park for the week out.
OH. another thing.. Thousand Trails has a lot of parks all over the USA I can use 2 weeks in one out... Outdoor Adventure is all over Michigan. (And a bit beyond) same program..
NOW in at least one of the OAI parks... THe CITY set the time limit.
