Memorial Day - Where are you camping?!

Hoping to find a spot in the nearby National Forest. TT is still hitched from last weekend's outing, truck bed already loaded with Weber grill, generators and firewood.

Headed to West Point Lake on GA-AL line...

Like others...we skip the big three...Memorial Day, The 4th, and Labor Day.
But to answer you question...we will be home watching Racing.

The Sierra Nevada mountains just north of Truckee CA will be home until Monday then off to the Redwoods State and National Parks for awhile.

Three Valley Gap, a a historic town/museum not far from here. We have been by it many times but never stopped in. Last weekend was our holiday, a good time to stay off the highways. They were gridlocked Friday afternoon.:R

Isn't it smokey in northern AZ especially in the Flagstaff area up to Grand Canyon?

Was thinking about heading north through that area but need to avoid smoke for health reasons.

Do we think that heading up into Utah on 89 will be better? We are headed to OR.

We are staying home. Going to an arena football game in Tampa Sunday with the Tampa Bay Storm and Arizona Rattlers. We always stayed at the dock most holidays when we lived on our boat too. Too many once in a while boaters and once in a while campers. We don't like drunks on Memorial weekend and it seems that is what some people think its for!
