Sprinters are manufactired by Freightliner not Mercedes. So it's a Freightliner dealer you seek.

Really? And to think I used to work for them?

The Sprinter is built in a MB pant in Charelston. But in North America they are marketed and sold by their subsidiary Freightliner at Freightliner Dealers. And of course it was formerly sold under the Dodge brand also. So believe it or not most Dodge dealers still service them.

Sprinters have never been manufactured by Freightliner. All Sprinters are made by Daimler and have been sold under various brands, currently sold as Mercedes Benz. Note that Daimler AG is the parent company of Mercedes Benz.

  • Actually, Mercedes Benz and Feightliner both sell a version of the Sprinter van, so I suspect either dealer could work on them. A Freightliner dealer may be better equipped to do the work, as a luxury automobile dealer may not have the equipment to lift the van, or the roof clearance in their garage to raise the van.

The OP would be very wise to perhaps call ahead as part of trip planning if a routine service is required on the trip.

I made 2 trips to AK in my Sprinters, and the lack of dealers made me uncomfortable. I'd guess, and it would only be a guess, that F'banks & Anchorage would be the only possibilities.
