I had a friend who made a little money with a detector on Daytona Beach. He always had a pocketful of rejected old coins , damaged or maybe half worn out , no value to a collector that my friend bought very cheaply . He walked along the beach and some ' mark ' would ask if he had found anything ? He would say I found this penny but its got an Indian on it ,but the guy at the pawn shop will give five bucks for it .The 'mark ' many times would say " I'll give ya five bucks for it . Carl sold ten or fifteen pennies every day plus he found all kinds of stuff .
If ya asked him what he did for a living he always said , coin dealer !
