I did a lot of research before buying my MH...I was curious, however, about what other people bought and why, and what their experience has been. I realize much of this is subjective, and that many have the "best" on the road... if you're happy, you're happy, and good on ya!What would you list as the top / best / favorite manufacturer, and please name the type of RV you have (i.e., MH, Towable, etc.)?

This is a tough question as several brands may be made by the same manufacturer, made by the same people at the same plant.

Is your MH a Newell or a Foretravel?

I got a used one. It drove good, had a good CCC and I could afford it, that was the best part.

How about I give you my not-favorite since that's all I've owned so far? :) :) Keystone Hideout, Forest River Salem. Honestly, they've both been fine for what I expected and paid, and I'd gladly repeat my purchases to fill the needs I have/had at the time. Of course, this need and time are a weekend warrior stuck working too much to justify spending real money for a quality trailer or coach.Now..... looking into the future, and after a ridiculous amount of research, my leader in the clubhouse for a DP someday is Country Coach followed closely by Newmar or Monaco/Beaver. Of course the Newells, Foretravels and Prevosts are nice but in my price range I'd end up with something too old. Honestly, I still play the older DP vs. newer gasser game. The new F53 gasser chassis looks pretty nice - and really not just the engine (although it looks amazing). The upgrades to the handling look to be substantial and long overdue. Whenever I buy something my wife gets pissed because I just start researching the next one :)

Dont have any MH bc no one makes what I want ie 4x4 off road capable

I'll vote for Newmar #1 and Jayco #2. Have had great experiences with both.

Newmar or tiffin I went with Newmar because I live about 90 miles from the Plant.

Must be a which is best poll. You can ask that type question on several truck/tractor/boat/sewing machine/ whatever forums and get answers all over the place.
