It is the attitude of the Politicians and a segment of the people.
We don't charge extra or permits or anything for non residents to our state parks which far out rank Michigan's except for proximity to the Great Lakes. These same people have appropriated and gotten possession, with local govt, help of numerous public accesses and properties to the Great Lakes.
