Mildew

I have a white Monaco Knight. It was outside in the Florida Humidity for about a month and has developed some mildew on the "bug apron" as well as a few other spots, mostly on the front of the RV. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the mildew without taking the apron off. Thanks
  • Just posted this suggestion for cleaning off mildew, spots, stains on an awning. Mr.Clean Magic Eraser sponges work like a charm. I swear by them and almost buy them in bulk they are that good :)
  • I like Mold Armor I use it on white slide seals, fridge door seals etc. Works great and prevents new mold. I get it at Home Depot
  • I use a garden sprayer with about a gallon of water, a quart of bleach and a squirt of dawn dish soap. I spray it on the surface and watch the mildew disappear. I hose it off with fresh water and am done. Been doing it for years without any adverse effects.

20% is a little rich on the bleach mixture. I would use 1-2 cups of bleach for a 5%-10% mixture.

20% gets the job done fast. I rinse well and treat with 303 afterwards. Roof, sides, awnings, etc.
