mini cooper country

I do not have experience with all wheel drive MIni's. I do however tow a 2015 Mini Cooper Roadster with no problems yet after 800 miles of towing. (manual transmission). There are a number of people towing Mini's of various models, all with manual transmissions, and both Blue Ox and Roadmaster have Mini tow brackets for sale. I recently spoke to a fellow who has towed his Mini for thousands of miles with no problems.

Unfortunately all of the data that I have is with front wheel drive manual transmissions only. My manual explains that my car can be towed to a repair garage with 4 wheels down, and does not list any mileage limits. I suspect Mini has not ever tested it, so cannot recommend towing it. I did ask Mini how my warranty would be affected, and they said only if a failure could be contributed to the towing would I have a problem.

Again unfortunately this may not apply to the new all wheel drive model.
