I put these CIPA's on the Suburban. Link below is for eTrailer but you can find them cheaper. Be aware that GM changed the mirrors in 03. Mirrors that fit 00-02 will NOT fit 03-07.


I had McKesh for a while and they were excellent but got tired of taking them off/on. They seemed to get out of whack every time I took them off and needed to be re-adjusted.

Don't waste your time with the slip-ons, as tempting as the price is....

I bought towing mirrors for my ford from 1aauto. The quality is amazing power, signal, heat, manual fold/telescoping under. They have the silverado mirrors with the same for $361 shipped. I can't say enough positive about them.

I bought a set of these for my 97 GMC.

I sold the truck before I installed them so I gave them to a friend with the same kind of truck.

He loves them and uses them when towing his 5'ver.

They work like a champ and the nice thing is you can extend / retract them for the touch of a button on the drivers door.

They were a little pricey though....

Look up Chris Cam towing mirrors. I put these on my 2000 K35000 and they look and work great. The set was under 150 and they are power. They have them with all options available on your truck.

There you go! Nothing is going to look or function as good as the OEM style tow mirror. I have watched a lot of people in campgrounds with their clamp on tow mirrors and I can't understand why anybody would want to deal with that.

What brand and year truck? There are a lot of options, some easier than others if we know what you are dealing with.

McKesh Mirrors were the best I found when I towed with a PU.
