Probably one of the worst mistakes was letting some neighbors at a campsite use the toilet. I ended up having to disassemble my macerator pump to pull waterlogged cottonball stuff out of the impellers, as well as use a meter stick to press a football-sized wad of TP down from the section between the toilet bowl and the start of the black tank pipe into the black tank proper, then add water and stir to dissolve the mess so I could pump it out.
