Mold removal on awning with tilex

Purchased some awning cleaner at Camping World several months ago when cleaning our vinyl Fiamma awning on our Class B Pleasureway. It produced fabulous results and was easy to use, just use a soft scrub brush on the upper and lower sides, and rinse off good. The awning hadn't been cleaned for several years and I was pleased with the results, you may have to scrub harder if there are some stain spots on the awning.

We use Clorox bleach (undiluted) on our last Carefree awning, on our 2007 Jayco, for 7 years. No problems.....
I would spray it on- roll it up- unroll it after 30 minutes and spray it off with the hose. Worked great...

Read the label on your awnings, not all allow bleach. I know the Carefree awning on our last TT didn't allow products with bleach in them.

My standing comment is that I roll out my awning more to dry it off than to get any use out of it.

LOL. I figured so. However, I did purchase some Wet and Forget which claims to work but it will take a few months. I just haven't had time to apply it to anything to try. I figured the Tilex would be instant gratification.

I want to try these magic erasers as well. I have yet to buy one, but I keep hearing all of these miracles they perform.

I 2nd the Mr. Clean erasures. We now buy the one on the mop handle for easy cleaning of the awning. It makes quick work of the stains with no elbow grease required.

Try Mr. Clean "erasure" for same results no mess. I use them both, but the erasure is far and way a less messy procedure.
