Monitoring the factory supplied tpms on the toad

Does anyone have a system that monitors the factory installed TPMS on the toad? i.e. I have a Jeep Liberty that came from the factory with TPMS and when I am towing it I would like to monitor the tire...

I can't be sure, but I think you have to use steel valve stems with stem mounted sensors. I think it would be a good idea, anyway.
