Holiday weekends can be entertaining. I learned early on that offering to help was usually a moot point. Now I will only offer guidance when obvious danger lurks. The hardest thing to witness are the occassional arguments that ensue.
Regarding how long it takes to get into a site and setup - who cares. It is not a race and there are no time bonuses. As long as they get it setup that is all that matters.
The onetime we had an audience was at a very tight campground. The road was 10' wide, sites were 90 degrees to the road, our site was 37' x 20' with two large rigs on either side. Add to this the large tree at the back and it was going to be fun AND everyone knew it. Said to the wife as she got out to guide me that this would take a minimum of 30 minutes and would not be pretty so she should take her time as I would mine and we would get the trailer parked. It ended up being the full 30 minutes with me getting the trailer in at a 90 dropping the landing legs and lifting the king pin over the bedrails. Re-aligned straight with trailer, hooked back up and finished placement. What was cool about all of it were the attaboys over the next few days from the locals. Turned out that over the preceeding several months no one with a trailer larger than 30' was able to get into the site.
