We watched a 40 foot fifth wheel being towed a semi tractor back into a narrow space on ONE try. In the drivers seat was a woman!
NOW WAIT: I'm not knocking women drivers. I often admit publicly that my wife is a better driver than I.
Talking with them a few days later I found out that both the man and the women shared the driving duties, but when they parked in a new campground the woman always drove just to disappoint and amaze the "lookie loos."
I loved their sense of humor.
I know what you mean. There's a stereotype about women, especially when it comes to backing up trailers. People are usually surprised when it's a woman behind the wheel and a good job is done.
Not that it's right, mind you, just that there's a prevalent stereotype.
My wife has never tried to even drive with a trailer, let alone back it up. She's marvellous at giving direction when I need to back in though.
