Shouldn't this be posted in the ATC forum? :B
Nevermind....with the gun and attempt at shooting the mouse it would be against the 'family friendly' atmosphere
Thanks Francesca....that provided a nice lighthearted reprieve. I think the boys pants got a tiny bit damp.
Lots of sports related posts on ATC, right?
Think a video link to the "manly" sport of Ferret Legging would be OK?
And - yeah that would be....."Putting 'em down"...on ATC..;)
BTW - when "Outside" mag first ran the story - it was *two* ferrets.

"The King of the Ferret Leggers", by Donald Katz
In the Outside article (1987) there's an editorial comments 'box' with the following quote from the author, Donald Katz:
(quote):
"After exhuming my 'Reveiries of the Rustics' file, I was amused to find a note from John Rasmus the editor of Outside.
'While it's a wonderful story, I'm sure it's going to be one of the more editorially challenging pieces in the history of non-porn mags', he wrote.
As it turned out, I don't think any piece of writing I've ever turned out has received so powerful a reaction. For several years I dragged out photographs to show cynics that the story was indeed true.
I get calls now from people who have been sent copies of the piece via a 'King of the Ferret Leggers' underground.
So here's to Reg Mellor, a character of the sort that can make a nonfiction writer believe in God".
(end quote).
.
Amen!.:W
