Move to diesel engines across the RV spectrum a fad?

I'm noticing that in every segment of RV-ing, be it tow vehicles, or motorhomes, diesel engines are appearing as options (such as the one on the 1500 Dodge.) I wonder if this is something that is h...

We have always had gas and it has worked for us. We went diesel in September and we cannot believe the difference. We love it!! Less noise, more power, more storage, larger interior, less problem with wind, smoother ride, better turning radius etc. Yes diesel fuel costs more at this time but you do get better mileage
