My opinion is that diesels only make sense if:
1. You require a very large towing capacity.
2. Your coach is a high capacity vehicle in the range of 40+ feet in length.
3. You require high annual mileage travel. You travel a lot!
Most RV's have low miles on the chassis, so most RV's would not need to be diesel unless #1 or #2 apply.
