In the 1970's I would race my diesel powered car every chance I had....and lose..:(

Competition that would beat me:
Kids on Stingray bicycles (for 1/4 mile) and elderly folks with walkers (1/8 mile).
Last sentence (opinions) = Definitely a fad..:S
Bunch of diesel 'faddists' towing 5th wheels who will soon go back to gas power.~
