MPG Comparison Different Shapes
Afternoon, folks. I know this is not easy to answer, but I was hoping those who've towed a lot could shed some light. Is there any reason to think I would get any better fuel mileage towing an Ascape ...

I think the extreme aerodynamics of the Ascape will help it pull easier, and net better mileage. Smaller engines are good mileage getters, until they have to work really hard. A lot will depend on the speed towed. At 55-60, the difference will be less, than 65-70.
JMO, but I'd take the roominess of the Taylor, rather than the mpg savings, and less interior height.
Not apples to apples, but a boat will tow easier than a higher front small TT, and get better mileage, due to the boat being much more aerodynamic.
