Pink-up, then blow the pink out, open low point drains for me. Like the OP, too many turns and twists in the line. I've been an advocate for Pink (always). But see advantages to "blow" only sometimes. As long as there is room in the line for residual water to expand, there's no threat of breaking lines ... but one can never be too careful! So I still Pink-up, then blow the pink.
I don't understand keeping the pink for next year though. One has to catch the pink, but it will be diluted with water, making it less than reliable. Not to mention, sending it through the camper water lines, storing it for a year, and then re-introducing bacteria that's been growing in the containers for the last year! Oh yuck! No wonder some folks have crawlie things in their water lines and have to sanitize several times a year!
