When poking around the MS site I came across the link to download the trial version of S&T 2013. Since I already have it installed I didn't want to mess around, just in case. I wonder if it works ...

Still using my S&T 2011. Don't know what I would do without it for trip planning. Think I tried downloading that 2013 version then ran into problems registering it.
Not having a stand alone mapping/navigation app is a real pain. With S&T I do the daily destination & the route I want, plug the GPS receiver in, & away we go the way I want us to go. If we want to change on the fly, no problem. Can't easily do that with the stand alone GPS. It wants to go the way it wants to go.
An online mapping app is not much good to you when you are unable to be online off in some remote parts.
