Must-Have Small Accessories That Made Your RV Life Easier?

Hi everyone,

I’m still fairly new to RVing and slowly figuring things out. I’ve got the basics covered, but I’m curious about the smaller accessories or tools that really made a difference for you

Not big upgrades, but simple things-like organizers, tools, or gadgets-that made daily RV life easier or more comfortable

Sometimes it’s the small stuff that ends up being the most useful.

Would love to hear your recommendations

Thanks!

  • Wow!!!! You guys are brutal!!! I would think that you could offer something constructive.

In our case I would suggest a broom with a handle that extends the reach so that we could brush the leaves and pine needles that stick to a wet  awning as it's rolled up. The other thing I would recommend is a rack for hanging out wet clothes/swimsuits, that mounts of the rear bumper of your TT, that can be broken down for storage during travel. A timer that turns on your coffee pot, so that the coffee's ready when you climb out of bed in the AM.

    Just my $.02 FWIW

Safe travels and all the best.

K kids… I somehow always get my hand slapped for this, but have we learned anything yet?

Like this “new rver “ who plays the dolt and starts multiple cute vague threads and never contributes or replies?

Hahaha and literally while I was typing this I got spammed in messages. Roflmao

  • Also new to RVing here. I recently got turned on to collapsible trash cans. So simple yet so valuable. Holds the trash when you are at the site and then collapses to stow away without taking up any space. The least expensive I found were from Blackstone in the 13-gallon size. Very nice quality.

  • How new are you to spamming? You seem pretty dedicated to that hobby!

We travel with a small dog and cat, so I've found our DeWalt 20v 1/2-gallon shop vac invaluable!

  • Flags and a flagpole. Last couple of years I have hoisted the California Republic flag when on federal land. This was a state park and game day.

  • I’d love to hear the moderators lock your login so you quit spamming. That would be really cool.

  • Aside from decades of people asking these questions on this forum that you could search for, there are hundreds of you tube videos on this subject. Most of these gadgets are really figured out as you go. take the suggestion of an indoor and outdoor thermometer. Might be a must have for lwiddis but worthless to someone like me since I have thermometer inside on my stat and any phone with a good app can tell you outside temperature. The point is, stop using this forum like AI and go figure out what works for you. Otherwise you're living someone else's experience. Common sense usually prevails here.
