The RV industry is seasonal. They are in the fun business and make their money on sales. Their mark-up on parts is enormous, like boats. The service departments always seem kind of sleazy and semi-honest. It comes with the territory. It is best to learn to do simple things like adding anti-freeze and flushing it yourself.
My first RV was a used truck camper. I had a company install it on my truck. They did a terrible job and lied about. I took them to court and won a few hundred dollars. It caused great heart ache. Now I avoid RV dealers like the plague. The portable repair guys are great. They come to your house and know what they are doing.
