in my opinion you got all bent out of shape over nothing really. If you would educate yourself about your unit this would never have happened and you would have the service fee money in your pocket. How hard is it to hook up a water line and turn on all the faucets, run water till clear and then dump your tanks? Job done. You also stated your pump was on and ran dry. That never happened if your fresh tank was full.
Not trying to be a smart arse here but a little knowledge of your rv goes a long way.
Now take a chill pill and another glass of wine and enjoy your camper.
