My sewer hose got stolen...

When I purchased my TT back in 2011, a flimsy sewage hose came with it, so I tossed it into the bumper and forgot about it, as I bought a far better hose which resides in a plastic tub in a storage compartment.

While doing some inspections this past weekend, I popped the end caps off, noticed the hose in the bumper was gone.

No big loss... because that hose was something that would be just for a dire emergency if the other two hoses failed..

It is a good thing in a way that after four years of camping, averaging 24-30 camping days a year, that the one item that walks off is the stinky slinky.

The funny thing is that I replaced the end caps a while back with ones that had a better grip, because I wondered why they kept falling off...

I never bothered checking on the hose just because I tossed it in there at the PDI and never bothered with it.

If the caps were falling off, why is the hose "stolen" and not just along side a highway somewhere?
    agree.

Now that the 'whole' story has been told so much more likely that hose slithered out of bumper and has deteriorated somewhere along the hwy vs being stolen

Hmmmmmmmm - had you changed the 751 locks on your compartment/s?

Bound to be the reason the thief had to settle for the bumper hose!..:W

Can't say I've ever encountered a turd burglar before.

    Now that was funny!!

My thought-- definition of a low life, he steals $hit!
  • Here is the odd thing: The end caps never fell off on the highway. They were quite loose on my rig and looked like they would have fallen off at anytime. Had they fallen off on the highway, I'd have just chalked off as the usual stuff.
