My smoke dectector doesn't like bacon!
Even with vents and windows open and stove vent fan on I have to remove the battery when I cook bacon!!!

I don't remove the battery, I remove the whole detector and put it under the bed pillow. that way I don't forget to reinstall it before going to bed. Works for me.
