My smoke dectector doesn't like bacon!
Even with vents and windows open and stove vent fan on I have to remove the battery when I cook bacon!!!

Mine has 2 - 2YO SD that only work with semi-depleted batteries. Tried new 9v batts and they beep all the time. I have checked the battery volts to be sure, just plain exasperating! Ya, toast sets them off as does the test button so they must just like lower voltage.
