False math with "my" truck. I get 11.5 to 12 MPG towing my trailer with my truck at 75 MPH.
If I tow 75 rather than 55 I can cover 160 more miles / day. I can travel 300 to 350 mile before I have to fuel up.
Being that I usually like to travel that amount in a day I usually only have to fill up once a day. And I usually only do that in the evening or in the morning when I leave.
I can travel over 2000 more miles on my vacation traveling this fast. That is a lot of more miles on my vacation I can take that time and bank it to stay at any one place or seeing things along the way rather than driving. Works for me. :)
