Crawl under it. The VIN may be on the frame somewhere. That's probably a Shasta.

I'm not sure the make and model would be of any real practical use to your friend. It's not as though there's going to be any factory support anymore, nor are there likely to be great differences in construction for that style of trailer.

My initial impression is that this may well end up being a complete tear down and rebuild, quite possibly involving new wooden framing, to do a proper job of fixing up. Your friend likely would be getting what amounts to a bunch of RV trailer parts and an old trailer frame to be able to build a new RV with; and I'm not at all convinced from the picture that any of them are in great shape to justify the price. It is, of course, very hard to tell for sure from a single exterior photo; but the rust on the tongue (mostly surface rust, it appears, but maybe not entirely) and what appears to be plywood in the windows does not exactly inspire confidence.

I was thinking Shasta also. I will see if I can get more pics.

I'm afraid I would have to agree with this assessment. I don't think I would spend $1,000 on this to pour thousands more into to trying to make it sound.

I don't believe this is a Shasta ...

Shasta trademark appearance (all or some of the below):
> Small fins attached to both sides high up on the the rear side panels.
> Wheel wells exposing most of the tire.
> Front body panel covered the leading edge of the frame.
> Front window much wider than shown in the photo.

It's the roof and wall framing that everyone is referring to. I suppose it has an aluminum roof, which is great. 1/4" glass is cheap. Does it have holding tanks?

That looks homemade. I had one back in in late 60’s it was slightly smaller. I bought it from the guy who built it. Since they are so similar, my guess is they were a kit.

I would ask the folks at Flyte Camp. They would know what it is and a value.

Check inside the door frame when u open the door.. My best friends old camper had the info and serial tag there..
