California is interesting. If it's not on fire, it has mud slides and if it is neither, it's quaking....

FWIW, I was raised in Michigan and glad I left their winters and mosquitoes to spend the next 55 years and counting in CA. I wouldn't trade our CA fires, mud slides, quaking, world class blue skies, world class winter/summer temperatures, and world class redwoods for any other place. In addition ... no RV winterizing, no RV interior mold, RV use the year round without snow tires/chains/4WD, and no RV chassis rusting from salt.
However, there is one big problem with CA - it's grocery stores aren't large enough to stock adequate grocery choices due to their wine sections are taking up way too much real estate. It seems a waste to us cuz we're Dyed-in-the-Wool water/tea/lemonade/coffee totalers. :C
