1. If the refrigerator works on propane but not electric, you do not need a new one. You do need a new electric component be that a circuit board, heating element, or some other piece.
2. Remove and replace the refrigerator is an easy job. Simply disconnect the the gas line and the 12 volt wires, then unplug the 120 volt plug. Remove the screws holding it in place and slide it out. Reverse the process to install the refrigerator.
3. Carefully measure the door you plan on taking the old refrigerator out and new one in. Some door are too narrow and have to be removed.
4. A Google search found several top rated RV repair centers in and around central NJ. I bet if you called around, you will find a center you are comfortable with that can repair or even replace the refrigerator.
