I think I could make a wooden one in an hour. Half a dozen in two hours.
You're slow,
1. buy dowel and cut into 1 to 1 & 1/2 in lengths
2. Drill hole thru center and put bolt thru hole and nut to tighten
3. Put end of bolt in drill
4. Turn on drill and use edge of a file to create grove in center of dowel the size you want.
5. Take out bolt, use screw thru hole to attach you custom cheapo hold down to wall.
6. Painting and/or finishing these are optional, but an oak dowel lightly sanded will look nice and last 10x longer than those plastic $10 ones from Amazon.
