Depends on your budget, what tow vehicle you have, and all your personal preferences.
Some couples full time in smaller units, but with kids you may consider a bunkhouse model with more space.
Be aware most manufacturers won't warranty full time living. Higher end makers do. That matters if you're buying new.
I'm partial to DRV (Doubletree) because we have one, but there are several good brands.
We spend about 6 months a year in ours.
Ask questions, research the web, go to some RV shows and look hard. Take your time.
