- PawPaw_n_GramExplorerThere are a lot of families which pull 5ers across the country to work locations, with small children.
The biggest negative I've heard of is finding a reasonable priced RV park which doesn't mind the kids being there. And a good school.
Many, many folks do prefer the lifestyle rather than having dad absent for long periods of time while working.
You will miss having a full-sized laundry if you have one now. The size of the unit is a big set down for most families. 350 to 380 square foot of living space is actually smaller than most two car garages.
Imagine being trapped in that tiny space for several days with the kids due to bad weather.
As mentioned above, research, research, research. But also don't hesitate to check with your husband's co-workers. See if any of them travel with the family in a 5er, or TT.

Some couples full time in smaller units, but with kids you may consider a bunkhouse model with more space.
Be aware most manufacturers won't warranty full time living. Higher end makers do. That matters if you're buying new.
I'm partial to DRV (Doubletree) because we have one, but there are several good brands.
We spend about 6 months a year in ours.
