Need input. Water tank leaking.
I have an arctic fox truck camper. The fresh water tank is leaking.. again!!
It moves around (by 1/4") and the pickup touches a frame member which pulls the pickup pickup out of the tank a bit and causes a drip.
The tank had already destroyed my insulation and I just spent all weekend (again) trying to fix it. Got in there, put a couple extra blocks in to hold it, fixed the frame members it ripped out of the frame previously, and put all new insulation in thinking I had fixed the problem.
Now... It has apparently moved again enough to touch a frame member and put pressure on the pickup (at the very bottom of the tank) causing a leak. (Again)
I've had enough. Ha ha ha
Any ideas?
How hard is it to put a new pickup in a plastic tank? I'm thinking of plugging the current pickup and putting one in at the top to avoid this problem.
Any other ideas? Maybe a bladder?? We used to use those on boats when the tanks were cracked and leaking...
What would you do?
