My white Camco hose from Wal*Mart likely is not as good as the one you blew up, and has lasted several years.. I have two of them, One for summer use (Stock) and one for winter use (Has a string of rope lights duct taped to it)
The secret: one of the campgrounds I stay at has a warning on your check in paperwork/park map.. They mention they have recorded water pressures in excess of 100 PSI.
So, connected to the park hydrant is a very short (six inch) very strong reinforced Strain Relief hose. Connecte to that a Zurin 3/4 inch water pressure regulator (With proper adapters) conneted to that a pressure gauge then my white hose.. the pressure gauge currently reads 40 PSI (All Bill feeds me) but in the park i just mentioned it will read 50 (The set point for the regulator) does not matter if I'm sitting there looking at it or taking a shower, 50 PSI is the pressure (Regulator is GOOD)
Watts makes some that are equally as good (The smallest watts is too small, but anything other than the smallest should work.
You want it to be within a foot of the hydrant... So what do you put at the RV end of the hose... Why your filter of course.
