Need Some Advice
I have friends who are retiring that are RVers and with their new free time plan to be on the road more. I'm looking for some suggestions for what might make a good gift? They have a fifth wheel.

I must disagree with all of the gift/gas/whatever cards. Get them a small plant. I suggest a bonsai. Not only will it enhance their home on wheels, but they'll think of you when they enjoy it, for many moons down the road.
As I type I can look to my right and enjoy a Golden Gate Ficus sitting atop my CPU, given to me by my wonderful wife as a 20th anniversary present.
