I would have made the big Dodge hold its own and blast the other guy. Same thing if an obstacle suddenly appears. Never swerve with a big trailer. Blast through it.

When PP lines are suddenly cut and have a large escape of gas, the built in valve shuts them down. If that didn't happen then the leak was very small.
