A 58 mph difference in speed would have resulted in severe if not fatal injuries. All these people being judgemental, and advising what they would have done. Unless you are in that situation, you have no idea on what you will do, instinct will take over without time for thought.

Glad you are not seriously injured, hopefully you will get this settled with the insurance company quickly and get back to RVing.
