New 2000 watt HFT Genny
I noticed in the last ad I received from HFTs that they now have a CARB compliant 2000watt generator. Has anyone here bought one and or heard one run. I believe that for $499.99 it won't be as quiet...

It might be ok, but if possible try to listen to one of these (or eq) first. Depends on your tolerance for racket, and also your neighbors. The Wen generator shown above will be very loud. Please don't camp with something like that.
Well product specs are 66db running. The little 900 watt is rated at 91db. Honda is rated at 59 db under load.
I think I would be willing to spend the extra $500 for a Honda, many trips to NYC and seeing many Honda gens running food carts!!!
